Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Argh. Looked on the forum and came up empty handed on the subject of network rendering. Mental Ray's instructions seem pretty simple (though admittedly not very well written) and I have done everything "required" of me. My specs are:

Maya 2008 installed on primary system (Windows 7 x64)
RaySat installed on network system (Windows Vista x64)

Port identified as 7107 and firewall on router AND both computers opened up.

###.###.###: 7107 in .rayhosts

On batch render of simple frame w/ both master and network render enabled, looking at the mayaRenderLog.txt I only see my master system rendering out. Tested on complicated frame. Same results. Anything I missed?
