First problem!!

I try to use detach surface in Maya 2013. I want to separate just a little bit a corner but not happen. I have try to delete history but it´don´t work aniway. All night here! Tank you

Detach surface

Hello and tank you for your help...I´m bad to english so...I can´t explane so good what I mean!I want to do this. I have used detach surface, but nothing happened!

That is strange. Do you get any error messages?

Also:

1. Make sure it is a NURBS surface
2. Go into the Edit NURBS>Detach Surfaces>Options and reset the tool(I know there is only one option in there but just do it to be thorough).
3. Select an isoparm on the surface and try detaching again.

Dear Genny...it´s don´t want to work. I don´t know why but. This is a NURBS surface but nothing happen and I don´t have error message...but tank you for your time anyway. And good aften
