Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Huxley, thanks. Yeah I'm thinking about it for sure.

strob7, thanks.

TwistedD, thanks. I did 2 renders from the same spot. One regular and the other with the wire frame texture. I made the composite in Photoshop. I'll post some pic's on SPS about it, where you can see both and how the composite was done. I'll do that in just a couple minuets. Link to the other thread on SPS at bottom of this post.

R-Tillery, She was painted in Photoshop and composited with it. For all the Photoshop work I have a thread on this at SimplyPhotoshop. Link to the thread is at the bottom of this post.

What a magnificent piece of art.

Love the idea behind it, only thing I can comment on which stands on really is the forearm length is just a little too long for me, seems to stand out a little.

But apart from that, phenomenal user added image

Kevin, thanks. bows.

R-Tillery, you'll get there. and BTW I love your avatar. Neet stuff.

Droddy, Clod, Dirack, and Orgeeizm Thank you very much.

Flib, thanks. The forearm length is intentional. Its a exaggeration that I hope would make it seem like he's always reaching for something.. however, you being the second one to spot this, I'm starting to think maybe there to long, and if a bit shorter would still have that affect but not look so weird it sets off the alarms. LOL Thanks.

Kumar, Thanks man. Yes normally it would def look better if she was having some eye contact. But there are reasons why she is looking low that haven't bean put in just yet. In a little bit of time you'll see.
