Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Nov/Dec - Norm - papalatistudios

Well Im in, but a little reluctantly...400 Dollars sounds good, but then again you guys are awesome and I am not.

I posted a question to mike and lets see if he thinks that is okay. If it is then cool. I will have to find a camera to be able to take pics of it first.

Its a toy. Still in its container. Man, to make this look like its real is going to be hard.

The only thing that I am really going to focus on is lighting and texturing. Cause I am pretty confident in my modeling no hesitation there.

Alright Ill stop blabbering and wait for mike's answer hopefully he says its okay.

If he gives me the okay I will post a pic of what it is...

It's a surprising and very interesting choice! I'm already sure your entry will be great. Good luck with your model, man!

Awesome idea. I was thinking of doing a stuffed animal, but I don't think I know enough to accomplish the look/texture of the material of the object. I'm looking forward to see your progress and final images.

It'll be challenging to make this look like an actual toy as opposed to a CG character. user added image Good luck!
