Using a WacomTablet with Maya

Hi all
Does anyone out there use one of these while in Maya?
I use it totally in photoshop and Illustrator, I mean ,how can you draw with a mouse in your hand, its just not natural. But is it possible to use one in Maya, I'd love to be able to throw that mouse away.
Cheers

its totaly posible. use mine all the time. I got 2 extra buttons on my pen though.. helps with some things..

Also I would sugest putting the pan, dolly and what not on hot keys. where you easaly can get to them. thats where I say one hand on pen.. on on keybard. its fast.

I use my wacom for 95% of all mouse work... Holding the pen instead of a mouse feels just more natural to me...

I use a combination of both;

When doing accurate modeling I find the Pen to hard to control, but for 3D painting and brusing hairs, Paint FX and such its great with the Pen.
Its also nice to use the pen when unwrapping those annoying UV's.

caligraphics, wandering what size you have? I'v got a 12x9 and I have no problem with accurasy. Though with my size it feels more like a pencel than a brush.

I think that anyone who is serious about modelling in Maya should use a Tablet......I don't have one....yet.....but it seems that CTS sets in quickly after about 2 hours of modelling with a mouse......so it only seems natural to have a pen....not to mention ergonomics user added image
