WHAT IS A TABLET ????

Hello everyone.

Our senior brother Mr Mt. Mckinely announced about the prizes to be given for the july/august contest.

After looking at the prizes, i was curious to see something like a laptop with a mouse and a pen... which is called a wacom tablet!

What is this? is it a laptop? If yes then with which processor? The thing is quite slim and sleek, and is very appealing!

Thanks,
Gautam.

It basically a digital piece of paper which allow you to draw directly to the software package, say Photoshop or Painter insted of using a mouse. A must for digital concept/texture artists.

one of the standard tools of the industry. user added image As mentioned, it's a pen input device that allows for more natural sketching, painting, etc directly into the computer as opposed to a clunky mouse.
