Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
I've put clouds into a mr s/s by plugging a jpeg through a mr spherical environment node and multiplier node into the haze. It's working ok (apart from messing about with the gamma) but I wondered if there's anyway of controlling how the jpeg is mapped to the environment sphere? There's a few basic controls in the ae (direction & rotate) but they seem a bit hit and miss.
