i need a plugin that imports .max files

hi guys.
Does anybody know were i can find a plugin that imports .max files into maya?
i need one fairly ugently but i cant find one.

If it's only the model you're importing, use the .obj format.

Obviously, you will need to have max installed for this.

Otherwise, I've heard the FBX plug-in has been used to export from max to maya, but I've never used it myself.
