This may seem like a bad question, but where do I get the actual Maya software?

I've been searching this website for over 15 minutes and can't find out where to download the software!!! Is there something wrong, or do I have to buy the thing? I was told it was free.

I bought Maya 7 Unlimited for 500 bucks at Academic Superstore

https://www.academicsuperstore.com/?s...ocode=0D02002F

Great price. Everything I need for a long time. I just sent them a picture of my student ID.

Came with all the manuals 6 of them, plus tutorial and extras DVDs.

I am happy anyway....
