Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Flowers

hey

i made these images for my mums b-day card (no im not cheap she like home crarft and prefers home made cards)

i made these from 100% nurbs which is unusal for me as im normally a poly guy:bandit:

soz about water mark was experiments n hit ctrl s rather than z an i dont have spares with me

bottle in MR and flower in vector - blurred bottle and comped flower on top

in MR no FG was used i forgot at first but then wen i put it on it went crazy
get this wen i rendered in vector it took twice as long as mr with hdri map


Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

Nice work pbman - I think I prefer the top image over the bottom one - I am not sure about the toon shading with the real bottle and those triangle squares are kind of distracting.

Good work though and it's nice to see someone make something for their mum!

im not sure y it came out all triangle like that all it did was change the colour settings to full coulour from 1 colour and then turn on edges with 1.0 thickness
i used the same texture map on both
