Foggy Spotlight

Hi,

Can I create a cylindrical beam of light or fog?
Like the searchlight in the 20th entury Fox intro?

How would I do this?

Thanks!
Ari

Thanks,
Ari

well you can go into the light's attributes and use light fog, found under light effects.

That id what I'm doing now, however, the fog appears as a cone rather than a cylinder.... even when using the barn door on my spotlight, the fog still remains as a cone...

Then don't use a spot light. Use a volume light that is set to type cylinder
