i have GOT to get a FX now! user added image
but, um, how can you compare a wildcat (workstation) with an FX (for gaming)? theyre used for different things, thats assumin the FX is meant to be for gaming

well the FX is not ONLY for gaming... it can work as a workstation card but I guess you are right about the wildcat... it has it's advantages over the FX for being for workstations

well the main advantage of the wildcat is the bigger ram, but then it is not sure how much ram the fx will get. what i heard it might be 256 meg ddr2. and then fx has 64 bit (!!) graphics and wildcat is at 32 bit.

what i read in a gaming magazine, but that is of course all speculation, was around $ 600.

they cannot make it much more expensive - the gaming version at least. nodody would pay more for a gfx for games.

if they make a quadro FX (quadro 5 however you want to name it) you can end up easily over $2000.
