Aewsome so far, has a slightly more futuristic look to me although I could be completely wrong. will certainly be watching your progress on this.

Keep up the great work.

Some more renders

had some spare time to clean up the mesh a bit.
Unfortunatly i forgot to clean the frame to hold the doors, so in the smooth version it is not correct, too round. Wish had more time but thought to post this as a teaser for now...

C&C welcome

On any account, great work!.

PS, what do you think of our cold, small little country so far? user added image

In ICT there are two kinds of people : Technically challenged artists, and artistically challenged technicians.

I am, without a doubt, the latter.

Engine

Hey man,

Let's not get unethical and talk dutch here.

I liike Holland a lot. the only thing is the damn weather.
Sux big ass. Anyhow here's a pic I found on the motor that fits the turboshaft.
Obviously too detailed for me but I'll try to tweak in some tubes and bolts.

Talk later bro.
Where are you based? I work in A'dam btw.

Re: Engine

Heh, I lived in Amsterdam for the better part of my life.
Moved to Almere when I was 12, and still live/work there to this day

The weather could be better I suppose, guess I got used to the rain

That pic of the engine is cool!
Cant wait to see how this model develops.

Louis...no id when the blades go on bro.
As i'm following a tutorial I bought in the Video Training section.
I'm about in Lesson 15 of 33 modelling sessions. After that 8 Texturing and 8 Animating lessons. As I found the detailing in the modelling a bit weak (I would have preferred much more detail) I decided to search for ref pics my self and try to tweak as much as possible to the reality. during my search I stumbled on the fact that there are far more models then I knew, and it's not to clear wich one the Tut guy is making. Anyhow, I'd love to make it more detailed, but have NO Id of when it will be finished.

I always had x-mas 2007 in mind. Texturing and animation included. This might seem pretty far off but I have onlmy couple of hours a wee/2weeks to work on it.

Take care.
