Animation Rendering
I am willing to know how to render an animation scene in maya 8. I already have everything set up, the only this is the render configurations, that i think are not right...

If you mean that you want to render out an image sequence of an animation you have done then go over to the maya newbie forum and there is a sticky on how to do just that. If its and individual frame you would like to render then check out your help files for information on how to change the settings for the renderer, quality, shadows, etc.
