I think it's an improvement for sure, i would now think about putting little more volume into the body belly era and maybe bulking out the tail a little for balance.

i'm not sure that you have enough shoulder muscle yet to be able to flap those wings.
Also you need to tweek your verts so the legs ect are not so square, but keep going because now you are getting somewhere and this could end up interesting.

@jsprogg: yeah i'll work on those right away, thanks alot for your help.

another post from me i guess....

alright i need help at this stage....

ok i think my dragon is alright cuz i kinda like him as he is.

now im stuck on how to texture him, i tried doing the automatic mapping to get the shape out and then playing with the UV's but it seems so messy, i got alot of square boxes all over, i tried separating them but there is just tooo many.

here is a pic of the messiness,

i would love to get help now

Hey,
Nice image!

The one thing that I noticed right away is the teeth. I would say almost majority of all animals have teeth overlapping the bottom. You have it "upside down".

The one of the few animals that i know that has the lower teeth overlapping the upper is bulldogs.

When a dragon or dinosaur (in a way it's very similar to T-Rex) wants to attack, the canines are faced downward in order to penetrate the skin. How can you bite another human/animal or whatever you want if the biting teeth is faced upward?

Another way you can look at what the dragon looks like is Google for "Wizard's First Rule" book. There's a nice dragon on the front cover.

It should give you a bit of some inspiration for textures. Good luck!

This is progressing really well. With regards to having problems with the uvs try out roadkill. I always used to have problems with the uv side of things and found this plug-in made the whole process much faster and easier.

Hope it helps solve your problems mate
