Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Name that tool

I'm going through the Maya Fundamentals video tutorials and I notice the authors setup a hotkey for some kind of annotation tool (see attached pic). It's not one of the curve tools and doesn't seem to be one of the paint tools but I could be wrong. Anyone have a clue what and where this is so I don't have to annotate in Photoshop when showing a screenshot?

Yep. They use Camtasia I think. Great program.

Maya should add it to a future version...hint! Hint!

It's all good. If you do a screenshot and have to bring it into photoshop to edit the format and size anyway, it will only take a few minutes extra to annotate with the line and text tools. Null perspiration. user added image
