In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Mech Warrior Thigh Help~

On the mech warrior thighs. Where you have to convert it to subd's. I converted it but it didn't match what the tutorial has x.x...am I doing something wrong?

It's the part where the tutorial author converted the nurb sphere & thighs together into a polygon and then he boolean union it and fixed it up and converted into a subd's

can you give a screen shot of your model (with wireframes showing) and picture of the thigh in the video? (preferably side by side or whatever....)

Heres the tutorial version. The tutorial version was the same as mine but he clicked on the convert from polygon to sub d and it became a low base mesh and then He press 3, but uh if I tried to convert mine into sub d it doesn't look like this pic

it might be something weird with where the points just happened to end up on the sub-d

did you see what happens if you right click and go 'define coarser' or 'display finer'?
