p.s Yeah i know my texture is not the best but i'm thinking of making variations maybe 1 or 2 more textures..
Are these all maincharacters by the way because your fishman has about 3000 tris and if i remember correctly that's a bit high for a generic character for a gamemodel that is.
What i tend to do with Lowpoly models is start with half a model and do a mirrored smooth proxy so i will have good guidance when modeling.
Another thing is i would delete some edge loops in the fishman's tail and a cross his chest aswell only add extra geometry where there are rotating elements(shoulder/elbow etc) and if possible end all your triangles in a place where they can't see it (arm pit behind the ear under the rug you name it )
The fishman was Zbrushed by me.
Low poly is not mine!
3000k is limit for our game.
Yeah i told my "boss" that i could not work with this F**king model because my Uv mapping took me about 3+ hours ... and end up with some nasty seams ... the normal map turns good but the texture fit just awful so i will remodel it in my style max 1,5k Polygons you know me
10x for the Comment Mastone
Any comment on the rig suggestions coz i'm not so Experienced with rigging
Hey thats not bad. Could have made the video shorter. At some points the body behaved a bit more like rubber than flesh, like 1:05 - 1:20 and again at 3:25 - 3:35. The animation could use more detail, because if you hadn't provided a list I wouldn't have been able to deduct what some of these motions were. Keep at it man
