This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Cheers Bullet. Glad to get back on it.

I've found the ref now for the searchlight itself. I'm on this now while giving my new Spacepilot Pro a try.

Hi clearairstudios,

I would also like to give this model a go, being just a hobbyist i feel it would be an excellent project.

Where did you get the image planes from and ref images?

cheers Mithandra

lol. None taken. It's working for me so far but it's new so i'll reserve judgement until after a few weeks. The Wacom is for Photoshop and Mudbox. I don't like it in Maya.

Nice man...Im with Dom though...I saw that a while back...looks bloody awkward LOL, let me know how it works out with it though! yeh I tried the tablet with Maya...it was wierd and I gave up BUT it was just as quick as the mouse when you got your head around it.

I have seen the space pilot in use by someone using Inventor guys and it works a lot better then you would think. It looked clumsy and awkward to me as well at first glance.

Just a note I have tried to use my wacom in place of the mouse on many occasions and I still cannot use it. Even in photoshop just the other day I was trying to draw over a screen grab and mark regions and I just gave up and drew lines with the mouse. Just drawing a freaking arrow head at the end of a line is a 5 minute exercise for me on the wacom! lol

I can do horizontal line okay I guess with a wacom but vertical line are just impossible for me they come out all wiggly and jiggly.
