This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

problem with 3D paint tool

hi
at first: my english not very good.

I have big problem with texturing
when I assign lambert to my object then I change the color. (like this picture)

then I go to 3d paint tool

when I selected assign/edit textures and change X size and Y size

ten when I click on assign/edit textures my object change to this picture

why?I know if I select High quality rendering it corect but I want it in defult quality.

it looks fine to me. You are painting a colour map. you have a base colour of pink.
The first picture is diffuse, you may be getting confused between diffuse and flat colour.

Don't change the colour in diffuse, rather paint it using your tool onto the mesh......
