This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Sounds like he's gone a little bit Christian Bale. But no, it looks decent. Convenient that they have a slow mo drug for all the cool shots.

Read 200AD for many years when I was younger. A bit underwhelmed by the trailer, but remaining optomistic user added image

cool I thought you would have Dave.

Gubar, I know what you mean, but for me it 'tastes' like what it does in the comic. So I have hope for it.

Was reading the stupid comments on youtube. People have no idea, they were commenting on the mouth expression and also comparing it to the Raid movie. Such BS even at this stage. It reminded me of when an ex collegue compared Spiderman to Gattaca - it was WTF moment!! Go figure...LOL

Never followed up on the development of this movie, so I was never aware of who they chose to play Dredd. Wasn't dread supposed to be a really imposing figure, and why did they change the shoulder armor? The visuals where great, but the mega city concept sucked, and for some reason I kept expecting the Cain robot from Robocop 2 to show up. Anyone up for some NUKE because thats probably what people are going to resort to after watching this one.

Atmospherics plays like a 'real' Dredd story, but the design of the armour and the Lawmaster bikes? Not even close.

Going to see this one in 3D on Saturday at TIFF. Will let you know how it is. With 22 reviews, it's at 100% on rotten tomatoes. Not definitive, but still promising.
