Greetings,

Like TurboDan says, Sometimes it can be a good thing that there are no replies. Don't let it put you off though, keep on posting your progress!

Good job on the forks so far by the way, they look like SR suntour legs to me. Keep up the good work,

Mat.

I think it's very simple.

And here is the latest render. I am sick now, so i havn't done too much... I know, it's a bit too dark, and it doesn't compleatly show my current progress, I've changed the tyre, it's now more detailed, I've also improved the color of it and it shuold look better, but I am too lazy to do better lighting now. I'll still have to improve the material of the fork, but I am content with the model.

My work is very slow now. I've started modeling the body, i think I'll have to use some bumpmaping here and that is not good, becauce I don't know much abuot doing textures...

It's just a start.

darn... I liked watching this one. What kind of texturing? I think that you could use shader for most of this, maybe texture for decals, but you can apply those to localized areas. Look forward to seeing this... with the effort put into the model, I'm sure the texture will also look awesome.

I learn texturing not for this bike project. I just don't know much abuot doing textures, so I want to learn more. But I think I have just learnt basics. Here is the result of this learning and one littleuser added image detail added to my bike(the colors and materials will be changed and improved...I hope..). I didn't think I was going to be so fast, cos I was still sick, and I had to do a lot of homework for the time when I would be better and would have to go to school( user added image ). So, here it is. And, please, coment the texturesuser added image.

[edit]I am not sure if there aren't any errors in the text, sorry, I sometimes can't express my self correctly in english...

Looking mighty fine there urvinism!

Please could you post a mesh of the frame, I love the way that you have made the tubes meet with a smooth weld. Very nice work on the freewheel too. Keep it up,

Mat.
