Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

You can also catch it on Sci-Fi every Friday after the
Sarah Jane adventures :headbang:

This latest episode of Dr Who was great! Though were about 3 or 4 episodes behind here in the states.

Anyway, the Tardis is looking good!

yeah, i did notice the cheap flame effect to simulate the gun fire. But it was still a good episode.

Hey cool, I modelled a TARDIS a few years back also, although I seem to have misplaced the file, if I find it though I'll paste a render here.

However, I do still have my Dalek that I modelled a few years back.

Here is a composited test, still bits to do, like shadows and tweaking the lighting.

Also need to redo the position to bring the front more inline and flatter to the image. Not bad for my 1st ever composite tho user added image

Hey Chris, looks great, but that aint London!!

I dont know if you have, but if you have then I would give them edges a bevel as its looking a tad harsh.

And break up the shadow a touch as its a bit dark

Looking good...

I've never done composite rendering before... can anyone reference me to a tutorial or give me a short guide on how it's done?

Cheers.
