Oh oops one more thing I agree with the whole eyes issue so I'm gonna try to find a better pic up close... pop in the DVDs I gues and look for one. really it's mostly a beveling thing I think cause they are extruded just sharply... THX again for the comments and ideas!

I would really like to see a top to bottom image, so i can see the top of the chest and the head a biit more user added image. I really like this and i cant wait to see it with arms and legs! Oh man, what kind of weaponry (is that how you spell it?) are you going to put on this baby?!? Or will it be a surprise? Ok, keep us updated

Oh man, i see how big his chest is! Great job! Oh, and as for those real models... well there was 4 of them in HUGE boxes.. they are just solid colors right? Anyways the head alone on these babies are like 300 pieces. Costs a lot though. If you really want to buy those then i suggest looking on ebay user added image. I can take a picture of my gundam model if you want for reference for one of your next models.... if you would like that say so and i will take the pictures, hes really cool. This is the model name.

Gundam Virsago (04)

Another thing i was thinking of, is for the still images you still notice the eyes.. so do you have photoshop? Because if you do you could paint in the eyes for some of your high res pics once the model is done. I dont know if people do that or not, im new to maya (heh). Ok keep up the pace and this thing will be cookin. Woohoo.

PS. I take it you use Windows XP hey? And yahoo mail user added image.

HAHAHA Thanks man! Yes I'm on XP pro (love it) and yahoo! I noticed that after I attached it! user added image And alos YES!!! I'd love pics of you gundam! I've never heard of that one what series is he from?!?! Anyways I think that Gundam series are the best cause they do so much "human" like movements and that makes them better than Mechwarrior anyday in my book! Anyways thanks for the comments I hope to get more done tonight! Later

p.s.
I think I may have to touch up the eyes cause even when I bevel the stupid things I get sharp edges... There are also some on the back of the head but they kinda work as detail... if someone has suggestions plz help!

Hey, its kinda late here and I cant get a good picture when its midnight and dark. Tommorow for sure i will take a picture of it, its really cool! I never got around to painting it though (to involved with my warhammer at the time). Now I dont to any painting (wish i still did, had some nice models) but only digital art. Keep up the work on this man, great job. As for the eyes, ever thought of using the Split Polygon Tool (Edit Polygons > Split polygon tool) to make more points so that you can have a more detailed eye? Also one other thing i was thinking of. You could technically model eyes seperately from your model and then just kinda stick them in there, like a model! hahaha.

Cya

Got the back shaped and ready to detail. As well as added more detail to the front. Just finish detail on back then the torso is mainly done and I can move onto another part! user added image
