Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Maya4.0.2 + Linux = :(

I wanted to get my copy of maya running in linux so that i can finnaly rid myself of that fat32 partition+dual boot, however, I cant get maya running right!
Im using RH7.3+Maya4.0.2... I get this errror:

[jespah@localhost jespah]$ maya
/usr/aw/maya4.0/bin/maya.bin: relocation error:
/usr/aw/maya4.0/lib/libFoundation.so: undefined symbol: _dl_loaded

not familiar with the "code language" in linux... did ya try reinstalling???... anyone else???

does that give you a clue

Turns out that there is a bug in maya that makes it hate RH7.3. I found a hack that fixed this. Full "documentation" of my attempts can be found at linuxnewbie.org.

If only i could get it to recognize my license correctly now...
