Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
what would the best upgrade be for my comp within that budget i was lookin at a few flat screen moniters and they look pretty sexy. the on i was looking at most was an acer, it was 19 inch 16:9 and the resolution was something like 1400x900 ish... should i get it?
forgot to mention: another friend of mine has an ebay account so i can get stuff from there
If I were you I'd hunt around for a monitor at that price that a) has good reviews and b) has the highest resolution you can get.
I've got a 19" 1440x900 and it is generally good but I'd much prefer something with a 1600x1200 or similar resolution so that you get more on screen - which is very useful for 3D modelling
both of those look sweet starjsjswars and rhetoric,
i found out that if i can find him a new"toy"... he'll raise it to 300$so im gonna go check out ebay and neweggthe only problem is that it has to be under that price including s&h
it looks good, its price is easily in budget and, 1680 x 1050 resolution, the only problem is that there seems to be no problems with it at all... spooky...
its funny actually the 19" i was looking at was $179, they had this monitor there for $349 but at newegg its $169...
I'd check out Viewsonic. I got a 19" widescreen for $200 through Buy.com a few months back. ViewSonic has a good reputation from what I've seen. I've got two of them at work, and one at home, and haven't had a problem at all with any of them.
really? 3 all with no probs... ever??? ill check those out but i just need to make sure that they ship to canada and i dont want to pay more than 35$ S&H
i just got a flat screen lcd from my buddy:attn: :attn: :attn: :attn: :attn: :attn: :attn: :attn: YAY! its a dell something or other im still gonna buy another one though but probably just an acer... dual display:attn: thanks for all the help and support guys:bow:
