This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

cgtalk challenge model

Ah this guy is sweet. I love the chest/neck area. Are you going to bring in the part right after the bicep going down towards the hand? It looks a bit too straight. Like with my arm starting from the shoulder, it comes down past my bicep.. then comes in a bit where the elbow is, then goes back out again for the forearm and eventually comes down to where the hand is attatched. Its WIP though so you would probably tweak that anyways user added image.
