Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Well, Vec. The cars have so much geometry and all, so why dont we just render in layers/passes? That way, rendering time would be cut down (right..?) and then we can composite to them.

polar 0pposite; we all got good just using the program, and keeping at it when we get stuck. Also, comming across SM gave me ALOT of help, due to the helpful people here user added image Forum went to a school for it, but other than that, we just keep at it day in and day out. user added image

Yes we're all actually teenagers, and we'll are just dedicated. I did lots of tutorials, and whenever i need to learn something i go into help or search for a tut on google. brid send me the file minus the cars so i can start working on it again. mrcoobp@aol.com

For the corner I would recommend adding stop signs cause it looks like a 4-way stop.

Man.....Sorry I havent been around guys. The past week, Ive been working like crazy, so I havent had time at all to use my computer, let alone Maya. But Ill be working on this thing whenever I possibly can. Wheres Vec and Forum at?

I've been spending all my hours at the computer trying to get this freaking *$%#*@?@*^%!#$^@*$ hard drive working, with no results. I'm begining to think the drive is burnt. But this will pick back up when we are all having more time to work on it.

Wow. Havent had any time to do any work in Maya lately. Between school, work, and spending time with my girlfriend, its been crazy. But I have started a new car. This time using Polys. Its a Nissan Sylvia. user added image

Little update. Update on my Nissan Silvia. Shes in polys now, but maybe converting over to Sub-D's. It depends. Ill prolly just have Forum convert it over. Hes good at that. hehe. user added image
