Blarsgh! Trees :)

Hey there, I've been trying to find a good way to create trees, but I couldn't find one... My scene is too big and needs too much quality on close ups so no paintFX and it needs to sw. render user added image ( I just found a great thing about particle based trees, until I saw that all particles should be hw. rendered ) user added image. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It depends on which particles. Not all types of particles need to be HW rendered... clouds and blobs can be SW rendered. Somehow, I dont think that'll help you with your tree though.

That'll do donkey... that'll do...
