you think i got the effect i dreamed about? hell, no. i wanted the spiders have a bit dust thrown up, but that is not easy if you never played with particles much ...

BulletProof

Nice, shows a lot of the detail you miss in the static image.

A few quickies

I though a bit of camoflage might work on my model. hahaha.
P.S. Your model's tail looks real mean....... Carries a real sting or two. user added image

It was a bit of fun getting it almost to what I wanted.
P.S. I'm still digging a shelter in my backyard to hide from your invasion. user added image

Thanks for your suggestion about rendering an image and calling it the final.
I'll play with the textures and shaders a bit more later without the pressure of a deadline.user added image
P.S. Your Ant looks impressive with the hord of spider crittersuser added image

thanks that you like the spiders. but them are only scenery (i thought). to show that the ant itself not having weapons has the weapons inside as it transports little mecha. i should have invested a bit more time modeling them out and adjust the duplicates to look differant. but i did not want to draw the attention from the ant, guess i failed user added image

p.s.: if anybody cares, there are 23 spiders in the scene, but not all visible.
oh no they are in my head and control my mind

and now the waiting starts as a winner needs to be choosen. good luck to all - i for sure had a excellent time struggling throu the creation of the ant.

BabyDuck (23 spiders. + some hidden)

I could see 15 + 1 in between the Ant back legs.

Dam,,,,, JUST realized,,,,, you let the others out via the Internet, and into my house. ( I caught one spinning a web near my computer. ) user added image
