Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Maya for Linux

Hello.
A Chinese friend ask me that where can he download or buy
Maya for Linux.
Who know about this?
I'm a Maya beginner.
Are Maya and Maya for Linux two different software?
I think perhaps are. But I can't exactly say that.
Thank you.

Maya is available for Macintosh, Windows, Linux, and Irix. They all work alike.

The best place to go for information on this is www.aliaswavefront.com

Thank you

Thank you, Mark_wilkins.
Two days ago, my friend and I visited the website
www.aliaswavefront.com, there were four kinds of software,
Maya; Maya for Mac; Studio Tools; PortfolioWall.
no Maya for Linux.
A firend told me: "Alias/wavefront company said that
'Customers wishing to purchase Linux or IRIX versions of Maya should contact a local reseller'".
Thank you.
Best wishes.
