As you can see in the picture below I first extracted the topSide from the noseObject to get a good planar UVmapping. After doing that the -> PEZ <- didn´t show up on the shaded noseObject... Instead of where I did expect it (black text) I got a twice as big PEZ in some place above my UVs in the textureEditor which cant be seen on the noseObj. (red text)

mayaHelpfiles dont give me no clue.

maybe some of U know what´s going on.
