Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
i asked the lad about the deformations ect.., amongst other info he said this (hope he doesnt mind)
'The material is a custom shader made of pics I took of cloth (zoomed in). color, bump, specular, and a special incandescense map that kicks in only on shaded areas (makes it look like light shines through). '
any clues what this shader might be made of and what renderer.., obviously a sampler info nde.., but im no expert
