Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

are you still single?

Are you single because of being a maya adict?
And if not, does it effect your relationship with your wife (girlfriend) ?
And how many hours a day do you spend on maya?

Maya has, in some respect, kept me single, mostly because the game industry is SUCH a time sink. Lately, though, I'm trying to remedy that. user added image

lol, could this be the first simplymaya dating match??? user added image

happily living with my lady and getting married next year. I dont think time is too much of an issue with learning maya (upto 1 1/2 hours on the train and sometimes a couple of hours in an evening but not always)
It's amazing how much you can get done without having a tv at home to distract you... user added image

ahh i agree.
I think i would only watch an hour of TV a day. Its such as waste of time. You know you actually have more brain activitie when your sleeping than you do while your watching TV.. lol,

I'm single, but probably not because of maya alone, I'm a general geek, I opperate in all forms of media (cgi, light, sound, video, pyro, general computing ++) and of course it takes a lot of time.

Besides I have always believed EQ to be a device for controlling sound. Sure I wish I had a girl from time to time, but I'm not exactly sure how to treat them, and what I would do with them. (gee, someone sign me up for the beuty and the geek 8)

On the positive side, I don't own a TV either. I sat down in front of the TV and could feel my intelligence seeping out, so I stopped watching. I do lots of other braindead things thou.

Yep, still single here. Not because of Maya though, or computers in general. It's just my fear of rejection that's holding me back.
