Having Truoble Animating A Light In Maya

Could someone plz help??....im trying to animate a light in maya but im finding it hard to do this....do i jus basically keyframe animate the light on the time line or is there something different i have to do??. its not any specific light im trying to animate jus any light in maya.

if u take a look at the image ive attached i basicaly wanna animate the lights that are used to light this scene so that i have moving relctions and refractions and shadows.

so i want to animate the lights in this scene the...and i would like to know how u animate a light in maya.

If it's just movement you're after key framing them would be one answer, alternatively you could attach them to a motion path and have them move along that. I would probably take the motion path option as you can adjust the path more easily.

What mat said.. but if you are talking about the light brighness then hit ctrl A and going under the lights settings and just right click on them and hit "key selected"

thanks guys for your replys ill shall be trying to animate the lights in the scene tonight ill keep everyone up to date on the outcome.
