How to create text along a path

Hi there,

I'm trying to create text onto a ring. I have the 3D bevel text but can't work out how to bend it so it fits the shape of the ring. How do I do this? This is probably a really simple problem but it's really bugging me!

All the best
Simon

Hi,
1. Select your beveled text.
2. Open up your animation menu sets
3. Goto "Create Deformers" then "Nonlinear" then "Bend"
4. Now in your channel box you should see in the inputs section, "bend1" with options. Just play around with the options till you get what you want. Note: "Curvature" is the amount of bend. And, you can also move the bend deformer in your view port.

I hope this does what you're looking for.
