dwgtranslation.mll plugin annoyance [Q]

When I install the dwgtranslation.mll plugin then exit Maya, windows makes an annoying "gonk" (you know the one when an error occurs).

I have multiple machines (some win2k pro and some winxp pro) and I have Maya 5 on some systems and Maya 6 installed on others. The gonk occurs on all systems. Since the error occurs when closing maya I cannot find out what it is and it is a major annoyance as the gonk is so loud it scares the piss out of me everytime I stop Maya.

It does not appear to affect the use of the plugin as I am able to import and export dxf with it installed.

A work around I have been using is not to load it on startup and just load it, use it, unload it. The problem is if I forget to unload it I get startled by the gonk when I exit Maya and it is a pain to have to always load it manually when I need it. I generally export my final models to dxf just as a matter of habit to clean any bad history that may have accumulated while building the model.

Thanks,
Rick
