Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

subD uv's smoothing

hello.
to those savvy with maya modeling/rendering :

is there a way to get maya's subD'uvs to smooth?

is there a workaround im not aware of?

uv distortion has not been so obvious until now on my subD models, so i never had any issues with that.

but the subD uvs remain the UVs of the base mesh [level 0 or unsmothed version of the mesh]

is there a way to get the UVs to be smooth. IIRC maya 5.0, i could be wrong.. smoothed the UVs for subDs, im on maya 6.5

thanx in advance
