Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

some zoom problem (screenshot included)

Hy guys !
I have this weird error I'm getting all the time in maya after I zoom out too much ...

Why is this happening ! If I had a bigger project I could never be able to see it from above !
What should I do to fix it ?

The screenshot is composed out of part 1 which is one zoom away from part 2 (both were perspective camera only made one img with photoshop)
Any idea why that is happening ?

Thanks so much !!!
Best regards, Vick.

I'm guessing this is to do with camera clipping, you need to increase this value so that you can see more of the project, I don't have Maya open at te moment but I believe this can be found in the 'preferences' tab under the 'window' menu.

Hope this helps.

After you change the clipping values, Maya only applies them to new scenes. In existing scenes, the clipping values can be changed in the camera attributes.
