Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Zb Upgrade today quick dynamesh sculpt

Already fell in love with DynaMesh going to speed up work flow so much this was done in about 1 hour. Sculptris testing out is next hehe ...

Cool, dynamesh is a great idea to bash out fast concepts, but as ever Im not one for being in agreement of retopolgising to a final model when it could have been built from the off from concept art anyway. Good stuff though Kurt

Ya agree Jay, I rather spend the little extra time getting a proper base mesh then sculpt it up for my real projects. Hopefully at some point soon we wont have to worry about it so much it will all be done automadically.

playing around with dynamesh again and with the polish tools pretty cool. My next project will have some metal surfaces.

those are pretty boss man.

I'd love to learn ZB or MudBox to sculpt instead of... real clay

i'd also love a medium Intuos4 to do it with.user added image
