This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
hey i found it for ya... if you're using maya 7.0 this should fix it
this is a non power of 2 problem. i had it on my computer as well, you need to add a varible to your Maya.env file.
go to "My Documents > Maya = maya.env" file and edit it so you have this string in it
"MAYA_NON_POWER_TWO_OFF = 1" (without quotes) save and run maya again.
hopefuly this will help, apperently this has something to do with graphics drivers and compatibility with non power of 2 textures, in other words if its oblong it will render it as a power of 2 texture and skew it. supposedly after the 7.1 update this was fixed.
Man thank you sooo much! That did the trick.. I can see the textures now in the display.
I was having this issues for sooo long, but now finally im working fine.. Thank you again.
Thanks man.. Im glad you like it.
Still Need more work.. sooo some updates are coming soon.
Some guy told me that the space between the eye and the nose is too big? I think maybe he is right. But dont know what to move there..
Well I Push a little up the side of the face to try to make that part between the nose and the eyes much shorter?
Dont know is the model is looking better or what?
