Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Cadillac XLR

I was so inspired by mushroomgod's Honda S2000, I decided to give it a try. This is a 2004 Cadillac XLR. This is basically my first attempt at modelling anything non-organic. Here's what I'm going for.

Thanks that that link! I've been restarting this project over and over. I've been trying Nurbs, Polys andd subDs, but I run into trouble with them all. Not sure which way to go yet.

Well I decide to start from scratch again, and sticking with polygons. I did it the long way of using the create and append polygon tool.

Here's an update. Far from being finished, but I guess it's progress. Still have some dents and hard edges to smooth out. I just started to build the interior, that's going to be my focus for now.
