Man I thought this thread was new, and I thought Mike was back on the boards also, until I noticed when the thread created....almost ten years ago.

Has anyone heard from Mike lately?

Not since May.

Hey hi, when rendering in maya for optimal quality and manageable file sizes, TIFF is generally considered the best choice among JPEG, TARGA, and TIFF formats. While TARGA files may offer high quality, they tend to result in larger file sizes and for compressing them try using any online application such as https://jpegcompressor.com/ . On the other hand, TIFF strikes a balance between quality and file size, making it a preferred option for many rendering tasks.
