Oct/Nov - Noob - MarkeMark

Right, this sounds like a scream! LOL

I'm a massive Zombie/Horror film fan and can't wait to get my teeth into this challenge (pun intended).

My initial idea was inspired by a painting which was painted by a friend of mine (see attached image). With Aaron's permission I intend to duplicate the scene of a man hanging by his fingers from a multi story building.

In the foreground will be loads of zombies leaning over and grabbing at him and in the background will be the empty streets of London (28 Days Later style) with upturned cars and the odd zombie for good measure.

Here is the composition of my scene (Please excuse my bad acting).

Just this moment realised that I have a lot of modelling to do for this scene.

Peltra: Yes, that is the camera remote in my hand. Maybe I thought the Zombies could be turned off. Ha, Ha.

Cheers people, the poly count is going to be sky high on this one.

I have started to model the street scene first.
London buildings are very random so this many take some time.

I like what you're doing here. You could also try projecting the sky onto a hemisphere, might look better.

nice work so far user added image

Here are a couple of London style shop fronts with flats above them.

And the UV map.

Another bit of bad acting (and bad skin).
This is the head of the main character, the one hanging by his finger tips. I hope to get him looking very scared.
