hosts

Does anyone know how to set up a ".rayhosts" file? I've followed the docs, and tried placing it in:
the same directory as my scene file,
my "home" directory (C:\),
"C:\Program Files\mental images\mental ray 3.2\",
"C:\Program Files\mental images\mental ray 3.2\include", and
"C:\Program Files\mental images\mental ray 3.2\bin".

No matter where I put it I get the message "no ray hosts file"

Any thoughts?

Well I've decided to try using the -hosts command, but with limited success. It will render, but it won't set up a slave rendering (or what MI likes to call "Parallelism"). Each cpu seems to be the master of a frame, and renders it all by it's lonesome. I get the following messages:

MSG 0.0 info : connecting host render-01:7054
MSG 0.0 info : connecting host render-02:7054
MSG 0.0 info : connecting host render-06:7054
MSG 0.0 info : connecting host render-09:7054
MSG 0.0 info : connecting host c:/temp/mRay6.0001.mi
MSG 0.0 error 011226: mi_msg_connect: failed to parse hostname:port from c:/temp/mRay6.0001.mi
MSG 0.0 error 011701: cannot connect host c:/temp/mRay6.0001.mi
JOB 0.0 info : started threads 0,1 on render-01 now known as host 1
JOB 0.0 info : started threads 0,1 on render-02 now known as host 2
JOB 0.0 info : started threads 0,1 on render-06 now known as host 3
JOB 0.0 info : started threads 0,1 on render-09 now known as host 4

Does anyone know what this means, and what I might be able to do to get around it?

Thanks a bunch,
-dann
