save poses for skeletons?

I wanna save some poses for my skeleton.. how do you do that in Maya? I know it can be done with a script (I did one that poses my char in default pose), but I see there is a "create pose" in the Animate menu. When selecting it it says "Select exactly one character". How do you create a "character"?

Yes. You can make one using the trax editor. Its called create pose. Then its in your visor forever. But you need to create a character set first.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.
