Deformer help

I am having....a small problem lol
I need to make this......be able to move around like a hose, but I haven't the slightest idea how to do so. Thanks in advance user added image

ok knowing the aplication of it would help also.. like does it come out and feel around, or does it conect to difrent things.

You might start out buy looking at spline IK's using bones..

its going to be the hose for my vacuum cleaner....will be attached to two things....the vac and then the piece that picks up the dirt.

yeah a spline IK system would work good for you. in the doc's or I can show ya. you would want to parint the base of it on the vac, and you can cluster the end CV's that you will use to move the spline around, and then constrain the nosel of the hose to the cluster.

if your intrested I'll do a little example.
