My First Head WIP

Well, I feel that Ihave enough knowledge of Maya as to tackle making my first head.

interesting... scuplted face, kind of like silly putty. If you already playing with rigging, don't forget that the checks, and eye brows move in conjunction with the mouth to make convincing expressions.

user added image i give you an 9 for effort and a 6 for the model .....And that's your first head? pretty good. i wish my first head looked like that ..Actually my first head didn't even resemble a head at all.....The only thing is that the back of the head seems a little deformed.

it almost seems as if it has no neck .....but overall it is :attn: great.....

look at this skull shape and notice the neck area how it curves in..

maybe that helps?

just remember what lies beneath the skin and you'll have a great model..

Oh yeah, thanks...
I didnt realize that back of the head stuff.
I had to call off the project cuz I am now out of the country, and I cant post any pics of what I am doin with maya cuz I am running a laptop and haveno way of sendin the data to this comp (this aint my laptop). So, thanks for the feedback.
