Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

in terms of realism, its nearly there and thats even without the final lighting etc

It would be intresting to know if you are using any photon shaders or light shaders on any of your geometry, and if you are using Final Gather at all?

render with photon would be cool but in the real pinball machine the plastique shader don't create a photon effect... also i'm using the final gather in the render but the environment color is to dark.. i wiil change it in my next render.user added image

yes I will do it but the render time without dielectric material is long 2 hours. I will use only the dielectric material when all my texture are will be finish lol.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your render global settings? At 2 hours for a GI and FG render, you must have some expensive settings.

beacause i have a lot of texture in high resolution and im using a high quality render with GI some test with hdr and and final gather and lanczoc multipixel filtering and

very nice work! The lighting on the top panel is very realistic, not too bright, just perfect.

Have you had any irradiance problems with your GI?
