Can't find mental ray in renderglobals tab!

Hi.

Mental ray isn't listed in the list of renderers in my renderglobals tab! Anyone know why?
All the renderers i can see is, maya vector, software and hardware.

That happens to me all the time. Go to your Maya folder, locate the Pref folder, elimitate it and start Maya again. That should work

But then i remove all my custom things, like the shelves.
Any other way?

You may need to activate it in the plug-in manager section. Window > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager
